
Giorgio Testa
Graduated with honour in Agricultural Sciences and Technologies at the University of Catania (2001). On February 2005 he achieved the Ph.D. in "Productivity of cultivated plants" (SSD AGR/02). Since 2003 he has been teaching in various disciplines related to the scientific disciplinary sector AGR/02. His scientific activity is mainly focused to the study of forage, food and energy crops, studying the following aspects: nitrogen fixation, crop physiology, irrigation, modelling and yield. Since 2001 he is involved in several national and international research projects. Currently he is full professor of the scientific sector AGRI-02A. In May 2019 he achieved the National Scientific Qualification as Full Professor for the sector 07/B1. President of the degree course in Agricultural Sciences and Technologies (L-25) of University of Catania. He published more than 100 scientific papers and 99 peer-review (ISI/SCOPUS), H-index 22 and 1806 citations.
