Training programme
All doctoral candidates, in addition to developing their research projects under the supervision of their advisors, actively attend a shared program consisting of interdisciplinary, multidisciplinary, and transdisciplinary teaching activities specific to each cycle.
According to the national regulation (MD 226/2021), such didactic activities are: clearly distinct from those delivered in courses related to first- and second-cycle degree programs; closely aligned with the research activities; with an average annual number of at least 20 hours; clearly specified in the training (educational) program. The latter is proposed by the board of teacher for approval by the Department Council and it is mainly composed by the annual joint workshop, a cycle-specific educational program and by seminars and workshops organized by the Department.
