Field and laboratory studies on integrated pest management strategies for the control of pests, especially insects and mites, on Mediterranean crops (vegetables, protected crops, grape and olive groves) by means of biological and physical methodologies, selective chemicals and/or of natural origin.

Studies on biology, rearing methods and control strategies of ambrosia beetles, in particular of the black twig borer Xylosandrus compactus.

Studies on the taxonomy, morphology and biology of mites.
