2019-2022: PhD course in Agricultural, Food and Environmental Science, University of Catania. Research project: “Measuring ammonia and GHG concentrations for emissions evaluation in open and semi-open dairy houses”. The aim of the PhD project is to study gas concentrations to define guidelines for carrying out correct measurement procedures in open and semi-open naturally-ventilated dairy barns. Starting from the analysis of parameters that influence gas concentrations, e.g., climate conditions, cow behaviour, and herd management, the research project aims at investigating different methods to measure gas concentrations and at evaluating ammonia and GHG emissions.
