June 2019 - December 2019 International PhD Placement in the Department of Bacteriology at Animal and Plant Health Agency (APHA) Weybridge - UK, developing skills in diagnostic tests for Mycoplasma agalactiae detection.

April 2017 - August 2017 Research fellowship at the OIE reference laboratory for Contagious Agalactia - Istituto Zooprofilattico Sperimentale della Sicilia “A. Mirri” - in the project: "development of innovative laboratory and field tests for the identification of pathogenic mycoplasma species in the Sicilian dairy chain".

July 2016 - October 2016 Research fellowship at the Department of Agriculture, Food and Environment- University of Catania - in the project: FIR 2015 "genetic polymorphism and nutritional qualities of goat's milk, an opportunity for diversification and sustainable enhancement of production ".
