2020-2023: Ph.D. Course XXXVI Cycle - Agricultural, Food and Environmental Science - Department of Agriculture, Food and Environment, University of Catania. Research project: “Study and selection of carpospheric microbial communities of citrus fruits in relation to their mode of management (integrated vs biological) for the use of microorganisms and biological products alternative to copper”. The aim of the project is the development of a traceability method for the epiphytic and carpospheric microbiome of citrus fruits grown organically using metagenomics approach, in order to select "carpospheric competent" bacterial antagonists, able to act as biostimulants and/or biocontrol agents, and to transfer this knowledge to the productive world for the development of biological products alternative to the copper.
