Degree in Agricultural Sciences with full marks and honors, in 1989.
PhD in Agricultural Entomology in 1996.
Assistant professor at the University of Catania, since 1996.
He has carried out numerous tests, also for third parties (Bayer, Dow AgroSciences, DuPont), concerning crops protection from pests or pollination of entomophilous vegetables grown under greenhouse.
He was Professor of Agricultural and forest zoology; Basic phytoiatry; Agricultural entomology; Zoology and applied entomology; Methods of protection of field crops; Forest entomology; Zoology and elements of forest entomology, at the University of Catania. Collaborates to teaching of the Department.
