The degree course in SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY FOR THE FOOD SERVICE AND DISTRIBUTION OF MEDITERRANEAN FOODS is structured into three years and consist of 20 exams, including courses chosen by the student, which are related to basic, characterizing and integrative topics. Each topic comprises lectures and supplementary teaching activities (exercises, seminars, technical trips etc.). The educational activities are organized in semesters. The characterizing topics concern food technologies, food safety, economic and legal disciplines. Within the course, from the first year, there are training activities concerning aspects of catering, oenology, oil and cheese evaluation, sensory analysis, food safety, etc. which will allow to obtain certificates of competence. A part of the last one year of the course will be dedicated to the preparation of the graduation thesis.
