Expected Learning Outcomes
Learn abilities and skills on the use of computer systems: word processing, spreadsheets and CAD.
Course Structure
Lectures and laboratory exercises. Weekly reception to be arranged by email ugo.becciani@inaf.it
Should teaching be carried out in mixed mode or remotely, it may be necessary to introduce changes with respect to previous statements, in line with the programme planned and outlined in the syllabus.

Basic ICT elements: encoding systems, representation of information.
Hardware: CPU, bus, ports, memory, Internet connections. Software:
Operating Systems: Windows. Application software. Writing: Main Word
Functions. Tables and drawings, print. Advanced features. Spreadsheets:
The main Excel functions. The references. Formulas, tables, data
analysis, formatting and security, charts and print. Main Autocad
functions.
