Detailed Course Content

. In order to develop the oral code , tests related to CDL are chosen.( Wordlist related to food and drink. The diet in mu country – English and Italian . A quick guide to eating out in Britain. Good and bad food- chocolate, coffee. Global food. A food chain. Feeding relationships. Producers, consumers. Pyramid of energy. Food chains anh humans. Energy from meat. Food and diet. Our diet, carbohydrates. Food, the fuel of life. -how much energy is given by different foods- What happenf if you eat too much ?. The birth of biotechnology. Food and microbes – cheese- vinegar- yougurt. How we get energy from food ? Food and spoilage and safety.) The texts will be analized from a structural, linguistic and lessical point of view. Afterwards the students will be given comprehension exercises , and oral exercises. Many of them will be changed through transformation ability and rielaborated.

As far as written code is concerned the students will be given exercises in order to train them for the final exam. Summaries are to be asked in ordet to check how much they work at home. While studying the texts the students are asked to revise the basic grammar structures.
