Laboratory usage: research

The laboratory of Biology and ecophysiology of vegetable and ornamental crops is located in the main building of the Department and is equipped with instruments for biological, morphometric and ecophysiological characterization of vegetable and ornamental crops. The main instruments present in the laboratory are: optical microscope, cold room, thermoventilated oven, leaf area meter, precision analytic scales, magnetic stirrers, pH meter-conductivity, climatic cells. Other equipments for determining leaf gas exchanges (IRGA), chlorophyll content (SPAD), chlorophyll fluorescence and leaf water potential are also present.
