Laboratory usage: research
The identification of the main groups of arthropod pests of crops and stored food is carried out in this laboratory. Preliminary observations of entomological samples are here carried out prior their allocation in the specific laboratory. The laboratory is equipped with stereomicroscopes for insect direct observation and preparation; moreover, small insect colonies are often maintained.
