Course Overview

The degree course in Agricultural Sciences and Technologies lasts three years and contains 180 university credits (ECTS) organised in 20 courses (including lessons, laboratory activities, seminars and technical visits), training activities and final thesis.

The degree course is developed trough four curricula: "Sustainable plant productions", "Defense of cultivated plants", "Economic-Zootechnical" and "Precision agriculture". A group of teachings is common for all paths.

The training activities are organized in semesters. During the first year the basic teachings (mathematic, chemistry, physic and biology) are provided; from the second semester of the first year and throughout the second year and part of the third year the characterizing disciplines are given to complete the preparation of the first level graduate, providing information on plant and animal productions, defense, economic-management and agricultural engineering. During the final year of the course the specific activities of each curriculum are foreseen, together with the traineeship and the preparation of the final dissertation.
