Andrea Frasca Caccia

Adjunct Professor

Andrea Frasca Caccia graduated in European Cultures and Languages in December 2019 from the Special Teaching Structure of Languages in Ragusa Ibla. In his Master's degree he was particularly interested in didactic techniques in teaching foreign languages and Italian to foreigners. Linguistically, he was interested in the study of artificial languages, aka Constructed Languages or Conlangs, critically analysing the relationship between possible languages in the contemporary era, going beyond the use of Standard English. He also showed curiosity in the critical-philological field, through the in-depth study - in his Master's thesis - of languages in medieval, modern and contemporary mysticism.

Subsequently, he started teaching, first in Veneto, in technical institutes and high schools from 2020 to 2022. Since 2023, he has been teaching at the IeFPs in Modica and Ragusa, for vocational training. He also collaborates with the private language institute Easy British, located in Ragusa, where he prepares both students and teachers for language certifications for levels ranging from A2 to C1. He also carries out business training for companies in the area, and in particular, the training and language preparation for the achievement of level B2, of the winegrowers of a Vittoria winery deserves to be mentioned.
