Learning Objectives

To provide theoretical concepts and practical tools for the management of protected areas according effectiveness and effciency goals, and for estimating social costs and benefit, economc impacts of ecotorurims on local communities, and appropriate knowledge on environmental assemment procedures.


Course Structure

Teaching includes n. 28 hours of frontal (or on line), particpatory and cooperative lectures, and n. 28 hours of various typologies of exercises, including in cass or on line practical exercise, team works, examination f relevant study cases, field visits, individual researchs and presentations, seminars. The course is articulated in two Modules. The fist Module (4 CFU) is taught by prof. Giovanni Signorello and includes topics from 1 to 7 (cfr. Detailed course structure). The secondo Moudule (2 CFU) is taught by prof. Maria De Salvo and includes topics 8 and 9.

In case of on line teaching, it may necessary to change some tipologies of exercises in order to comply with the outline.

Learning assessment may also be carried out on line.
