Board of Teachers
The board of teachers is composed by a minimum of twelve members representing academic disciplines that are consistent with the programme’s objectives belonging to the proposing institutions, in this case the University of Catania and the Federal University of Viçosa. Teacher members are selected according to the best scientific performances (National Scientific habilitation, art. 16, MD 240/2010) and by guaranteeing a balance among the scientific sectors of the course.
A full enrolled PhD student representative, elected in accordance with the university's electoral regulations, participates in doctoral board meetings with the right to vote solely on agenda items concerning teaching and organizational matters.
