Environmental remediation
Module Chemical pollution

Academic Year 2023/2024 - Teacher: Salvatore BARRECA

Expected Learning Outcomes

Main analytical methods for the determination of pollutants in environmental matrices.

Knowledge and understanding:

knowledge of the main chemical aspects relating to analysis procedures.

Ability to apply knowledge and understanding:

be able to use analytical procedures for the determination of substances through chemical analysis processes relating to the pollutant to be analysed.

Making judgments: allowing the objective evaluation of the results also in relation to the quality of the analytical data.

Communication skills: develop and/or improve the ability to explain even complex scientific concepts by implementing technical terminologies suitable for polymeric materials;

Learning skills: Apply analysis techniques to solve environmental chemistry.

Course Structure

Teaching will be addressed through traditional frontal teaching.
