LABORATORY OF LANDSCAPE DESIGN AND REHABILITATION
Module LANDSCAPE DESIGN AND REHABILITATION

Academic Year 2022/2023 - Teacher: MARIAGRAZIA LEONARDI

Expected Learning Outcomes

Knowledge necessary for the design of green spaces and for the redevelopment of existing ones;

Develop in students the skills necessary for the design and restoration of green areas through the use of appropriate graphic representation tools.

Course Structure

Lectures (28 hours) and exercises (discussion of case studies or guided tours, reports, papers or individual research carried out by students, group work, didactic experiences in the field, in-depth seminars) (28 hours). If the teaching is given in a mixed or remote mode, the necessary changes may be introduced with respect to what was previously stated, in order to comply with the program envisaged and reported in the syllabus.

Information for students with disabilities and / or SLD:

It is also possible to contact the referent professor ClnAP (Center for Active and Participated Inclusion - Services for Disabilities and / or SLD) of our Department, Prof. Giovanna Tropea Garzia and Anna De Angelis.

Required Prerequisites

Knowledge of the main techniques of graphic representation (orthogonal projections, axonometries, perspectives) as well as knowing how to use software for the processing of thematic maps (GIS) and fort the production of technical drawings (CAD) is considered prerequisite.

Attendance of Lessons

It is highly recommended and in any case contact the teacher during the course to functionally connect with the project activities agreed with colleagues.

Learning Assessment

Learning Assessment Procedures

Students will be divided into groups of no more than four units. Each group will be assigned a design theme agreed with the owners of the course integrated with this module.

The delivery of the paper object of the exercise and an individual interview will be the subject of the final evaluation of the students.

Ongoing tests: development and subsequent display of concept maps relating to the topics covered during the lectures of the course.

Verification of learning takes place through an oral interview. The evaluation of the student's preparation will take place on the basis of the following criteria: learning ability and level of depth of the topics covered, properties of synthesis and exposition, and the student's ability to reason.

The vote follows the following scheme:

Unsuitable

Knowledge and understanding of the topic: Important shortcomings. Significant inaccuracies

Analysis and synthesis skills: Irrelevant. Frequent generalizations. Inability to synthesize

Use of references: Completely inappropriate

18-20

Knowledge and understanding of the topic: At the threshold level. Obvious imperfections

Ability to analyze and synthesize: Just enough skills

Use of references: As appropriate
