IDRAULICA AMBIENTALE E GEOLOGIAModule ELEMENTI DI GEOLOGIA PER LA PIANIFICAZIONE TERRITORIALE
Academic Year 2022/2023 - Teacher: Agata DI STEFANOExpected Learning Outcomes
The course aims to provide students with knowledge of the main geological processes responsible
for the shape of the terrestrial landscape.
Some basic elements will also be imparted for the recognition of the most common types of rocks.
Therefore, at the end of the course, students will acquire knowledge regarding the following topics:
a. exogenous and endogenous processes;
b. transport and sedimentation processes;
c. lithologies and relief forms;
d. brittle structures and relief forms;
e. ductile structures and relief forms;
f. hints of stratymetry;
g. relationships between strata arrangement and slope morphology.
h. classification and macroscopic recognition of major rock types.
