Academic Year 2021/2022 - 3° Year - Curriculum Tutela e valorizzazione del territorio
Teaching Staff: Mirco Milani
Credit Value: 8
Scientific field: AGR/08 - Agricultural hydraulics and watershed protection
Course Language: Italian
Taught classes: 42 hours
Exercise: 28 hours
Term / Semester:

Learning Objectives

The student will acquire knowledge on erosion and monitoring and prediction; rural landscape conservation; hydraulic-forestal settlements on slopes; fluvial system: river and stream morphology; naturalness index, river functionality; hydro-morphological and ecological stream assessment; natural water retention measurements; green infrastructures for water resources management; reference legislation.

Course Structure

During the course both lectures and active learning techniques will be used to transfer the contents. In particular, students will be involved in the explanation of main teaching topics by asking questions, giving them practical problems to solve. In addition, students will be involved in solving practical tests, single or in groups, to verify the learning of concepts also during the course.
Should teaching be carried out in mixed mode or remotely, it may be necessary to introduce changes with respect to previous statements, in line with the programme planned and outlined in the syllabus.
Learning assessment may also be carried out on line, should the conditions require it.

Information for students with disabilities and/or SLD: to guarantee equal opportunities and in compliance with the regulations in force, interested students can ask for a personal interview in order to plan any compensatory and/or dispensatory measures, based on the teaching objectives and specifications needs. It is also possible to contact the referent teacher CInAP (Centro per l’integrazione Attiva e Partecipata - Servizi per le Disabilità e/o i DSA) of our Department, Prof. Giovanna Tropea Garzia.
