Learning Objectives

To give knowledge of agricultural mechanics oriented to the understanding of the specific contents of the Course; to provide knowledge and criteria for choosing machines for the management and the maintenance of green spaces and, more generally, for environmental protection and restoration.

Course Structure

The course includes lectures in the classroom with the help of slides, exercises with the active participation of students and educational visits to representative farms on the territory.

The course provides for the acquisition of 6 CFU with 28 hours of lectures and 28 hours of exercises for a total of 56 hours.

If teaching is given in a mixed formula or remotely, necessary changes may be introduced to what was previously stated in order to comply with the provided and reported syllabus.
Learning assessment may also be carried out on line, if the conditions require it.

Detailed Course Content

Elements of agricultural mechanics; agricultural machines for the soil tillage; agricultural machines for management and care of green areas.

Limited mentions to the energy production from biomasses will be provided.
