Learning Objectives

To give mechanics knowledge to guide the students to understand the matters of the discipline; to furnish knowledge and choice criteria of the agricultural machines for the arrangement and the management of the green areas produced by anthropic actions and, more in general, for the conservation and the recovery of the environment.


Course Structure

Lectures (28 hours) with the aid of slides and exercises (28 hours) to apply the theoretical concepts and to solve numerical and practical problems.

If the teaching will be carried out in mixed or on line mode, the necessary changes may be introduced with respect to the previous statements in order to comply with the program planned and reported in the syllabus.

Learning assessment could also be carried out online, if conditions require it.


Detailed Course Content

Elements of applied mechanics, agricultural machines for laying out of ground and for the management of ornamental, sports and recreative green, for the recovery of man-modified environment, including techniques for their correct use and action modality. Limited mentions to the energy production from biomasses will be also provided.

The lecturer provides all the slides used to explain the arguments of the course, in order to provide a guide for the individual study. The following reference books are also suggested , although students are free to consult any other book about the same topics:
