Laboratory usage: research
The laboratory is provided with a fume hood, equipped with nitrogen flow, and a spectrophotometer UV-VIS operative in the principal analytic modalities (fixed wavelength, spectral range measurement and kinetic measurement).
The described instrumentation allows to determine many analytical parameters. The most important are:
- Content of polyphenols and tannins in livestock feedstuffs
- Antioxidant properties of meat, milk and blood
- Quantification of lipid and protein oxidation products
